Welcome to Our CEU Virtual Academy program

We take pride in offering free training classes on current topics to our fellow pest management professionals and technicians. Our program launched in April 2020, shortly after the COVID-19 lockdown, to assist our users and peers in obtaining continuing education credits (CEUs) for their licenses.

Registered & Approved by the States

As our program is primarily intended for CEU credits, each webinar must undergo state approval. Please verify whether the webinar is approved in your state if you require credit. Our team is actively seeking additional approvals, so new states will be added regularly to our webinars. If you are interested in a completed program and wish to request a re-presentation, please contact us directly or leave a comment.

Our webinars cover a range of topics, from insect biology to practical tips and methods for eradication and prevention. These webinars offer technical training for commercial pest control practitioners and can be utilized for general training purposes. Webinar Description:

This webinar will discuss two major vectors – ticks and mosquitoes. First, we will discuss different tick species and the diseases they carry, then we will talk about the prevention and management of ticks. We will then dive into the mosquito world to discuss different mosquito species and the diseases they carry, and how to prevent and manage them.

Our Presenter

Dr. Lucy Li

Dr. Lucy Li is currently an Associate in Extension of Public Health IPM, Department of Entomology for the University of Arizona. She has a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in insect molecular biology, but most of her work has been in the area of IPM Extension and outreach. Lucy is currently involved in translational research on public health pests and IPM in the built environment and in American Indian Communities to reduce health threats from disease vectors and pests of public health concern.
